The best steak I've had in a long time. The meals were top of the line from the shrimp appetizers all the way to the main meal and dessert.
The seasoning and taste of everything we had was delicious. Best creme brulee I have had this far. Cinnamon sugar ice cream yum.
The honey butter and rolls so fresh and good.
If you're wanting to have the royal treatment and sit down in a nice restaurant with great service I highly recommend the final cut steakhouse at Hollywood casino. Yes it's pricey but so worth a treat or special occasion. 😊
Went to Final Cut New Years Eve and a group of four of us had a terrible experience there. We had reservations and reviewed the menu online. We were pretty excited about the menu until we arrived and were informed the full menu was not available and we had to order off of a NYE menu. Expresso martinis were served in small wine glasses, no olives in regular martinis, no bread served, no salt and pepper available on tables. Ordered surf and turf, no drawn butter was served (was supposed to be, but never came). Was so excited to go and turned out to be a huge disappointment.
Restaurant opened at 5pm. The menu had changed from previous visits. Ordered from dinner menu. One was French onion soup, Ceasars salad, & truffle fingerling potatoes. Other was French onion soup, & oysters Rockefeller which was on tonight's dinner specials. All were excellently prepared. Onion soup with its veal broth base was excellent & plenty of crusted cheese covering the top. Oysters were done just right. Not over cooked which allowed the taste of the oysters to come thru. Wine ordered was an Argentinian Malbec - a very good choice. Waitress was excellent & knowledgeable about the food items. Also ordered the peanut butter creme Brule (not pictured) Very peanut buttery.
A few years ago Final Cut was a well serviced upscale restaurant with a full cocktail menu and wine list, top notch dinner selections complete with specials and chef prepared amuse-bouche. Yesterday's experience had us waiting 20 minutes for our server to come for a drink order from a menu consisting of no beers, no dinner cocktails, and around 12 wines. Since she took so long, we ordered dinner as soon as she visited us. From that point on, she decided that chatting with another table instead of tending to us was her priority. We flagged down another server to answer some drink questions for us (she recommended I walk to the bar to see what they had). The other server also delivered our food. We couldn't help but sigh when our original server finally came over to offer us more bread although we had already been served dinner.
The steak was ok, but definitely not what it used to be. We suspect heinz steakhouse and not a chef creation adorned our steaks.
Wow was this bad. Where to start. Wine list might be ok but a large portion of the bottles were crossed off. Place is nice enough but strong smoke smell(not their fault it’s in a casino). Our server was nice and attentive which was the only thing that was ok. French onion soup no flavor tasted like canned beef broth. On to the entrees. Our table got the ribeye and porterhouse creamed spinach and Mac n cheese. Steaks ordered mid rare porterhouse came out medium well ribeye medium. The outside of the steaks were grey, no sear no crust no flavor on either steak. Quality of meat is not good. Doesn’t say the grade but for $62 would expect prime. Not a chance. Tasted like the steak was baked in a warm oven. No idea how they are preparing the meat but Certainly not in a high heat broiler, hot grill, or hot cast iron. After waiting for 30-40 minutes was not going to wait for them to re-do the entrees. Creamed spinach was watery and flavorless. All around terrible. Never leave reviews but after spending $500 for a meal that was worse then Applebees or felt the need to. Wasn’t expecting Peter Luger or Barclay prime but was expecting to be on par with 1700 or even Ruth’s Chris/capital grill style chains.
I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday and promotion while she was in town and we were both really impressed by the superb customer service and the excellent food. I will definitely be back!
If I could leave zero stars I would. Called for 3 days and left a message for a reservation like the message instructed. Never received a return call. So I assumed I could just get a table, went to place and there was a male and female hostess that was extremely rude and said I needed to do it online. When I explained about calling they said they do not call anyone back. If that’s the case just have the message tell people to use Google online to make a reservation. For a higher end steakhouse, reservation system is horrible and hostesses could be a little nicer.
Used comp 160.00 2 very small lamb chops sides sold separate. 12.00 for a small glass of wine. Onion soup was very good. To expensive for the time it took to earn the 160.00 she took all comps, plus not enough food.
